We know that, in houses, we’ve lived moments of pain, disagreement, abandonment, fear. We’ll we ever have the percentage between happy moments (and unhappy ones) that we’ve lived in our house? Or we only get a mediocre neutrality (neither happy/neither unhappy) that dominates that statistic?

What role may assume space, it’s metrics and volumetric? What unveil the moving of  light and shadows or it’s immobilisation by the fixed artificial lamp lights? What will be shown by the objects or furniture that inhabit houses like living beings, beings that grow, move and gear ratios? What role is possible for landscape that receives the house which in turn includes it?

Excerpt of João Pinharanda’s text for the exhibition
